Management Statement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The leadership of VIZOFTX s. r. o. is committed to systematically promoting gender equality and creating a fair, safe, and inclusive working environment. This plan sets a binding framework of measures and indicators for the period 2025\u20132027 and is publicly available on the company\u2019s website in the section \u201cAbout Us \u2192 Documents.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Scope and Purpose<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This GEP applies to all persons working for VIZOFTX s. r. o. (employees, shareholders\/partners, temporary collaborators, external vendors\/contractors when working for VIZOFTX). Its aims are to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>ensure the minimum process requirements under the Horizon Europe framework,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>introduce specific measures across the five recommended areas,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>define measurable objectives, responsibilities, and the method of monitoring.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Background and Definitions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Gender equality:<\/strong> equal rights, opportunities, and treatment regardless of sex or gender identity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gender mainstreaming:<\/strong> integrating a gender perspective into all policies, processes, and decisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gender-based violence (GBV), including sexual harassment:<\/strong> any behavior of a sexual or gender-motivated nature that is unwelcome and causes intimidation, humiliation, or creates a hostile environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Minimum Process Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.1 Publication<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>This GEP is formally approved by the Managing Directors and published on the official VIZOFTX s. r. o. website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A signed PDF version is available for download; in case of updates, a change log will be provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.2 Dedicated Resources<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Responsible person (GEP Lead):<\/strong> Michal Zajac (interim). By 31 January 2026 ensure rotation or co-responsibility with the Managing Director to avoid conflicts of interest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Budget:<\/strong> at least 1% of annual overhead (or at least \u20ac150 per year, whichever is higher) for trainings, external consulting, and implementation of measures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>External expertise:<\/strong> where needed, contract an independent consultant for trainings and an annual process audit (at least once per year).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.3 Data Collection and Monitoring<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Disaggregated data:<\/strong> we record data on employment status, remuneration, contract types, and participation in decision-making disaggregated by sex\/parenthood status (to the extent permitted by law and with the consent of the individuals concerned).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Indicators:<\/strong> see Section 6 and Annex A (indicator table).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reporting:<\/strong> one internal report per year (by 31 February) and a short public summary on the website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.4 Training and Awareness-Raising<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Mandatory e-learnings:<\/strong> \u201cUnconscious Bias,\u201d \u201cInclusive Leadership,\u201d \u201cPrevention of Sexual Harassment\u201d \u2014 at onboarding and every 2 years thereafter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Leadership workshop:<\/strong> a 2-hour interactive workshop on inclusive decision-making once a year (may be online).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Onboarding:<\/strong> the GEP and the Code of Ethics are part of the introductory documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Areas and Specific Measures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.1 Work\u2013Life Balance and Organizational Culture<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Flexible work (time\/place) as default, considering project needs and occupational safety.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transparent calendar and scheduling of meetings during <strong>core hours<\/strong> (10:00\u201315:00).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Parenthood support: option of part-time arrangements, temporary task reallocation upon return from parental leave.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Internal communication norms: courtesy; late emails sent with delayed delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Targets 2025\u20132027:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>at least 90% of meetings held in core hours;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>100% flexible work arrangements wherever the nature of work allows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.2 Gender Balance in Leadership and Decision-Making<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>When expanding the team: ensure that at least two different evaluators participate in hiring decisions; if team size does not allow this, invite an external advisor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leadership provides an annual overview of the composition of governing and advisory roles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Targets:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain\/strengthen gender diversity in statutory bodies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When headcount exceeds 5 FTE: at least 40\/60 women\/men representation in broader leadership (middle management) by end of 2027, where the labor market allows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.3 Equality in Recruitment and Career Progression<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Standardized job ads: gender-inclusive language, only essential requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shortlists: strive for gender-balanced shortlists; if not feasible, document the reasons.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pay transparency: include salary bands; annual audit of the gender pay gap (if N\u22653 in comparable roles).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mentoring and development: each employee has an annual development plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Targets:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>100% of job ads include a salary band;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>annual pay-equity audit;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>bias-aware selection process time (bias-free hiring toolkit in Annex C).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.4 Integration of the Gender Dimension in Research and (where relevant) Teaching<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>In project proposals, mandatory assessment of the relevance of the gender dimension (Gender Dimension Checklist).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In technical CV\/AI projects, assess dataset representativeness, bias risk, and impacts on different user groups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Document decisions and mitigations in project deliverables.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Targets:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>100% of projects demonstrably assess the gender dimension;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>for projects with impact on people: include a chapter \u201cEthics &amp; Gender Impact.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.5 Measures Against Gender-Based Violence and Sexual Harassment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Zero-tolerance policy (Annex B).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reporting channels:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>internal: <strong><a>gep@vizoftx.sk<\/a><\/strong> (access for both Managing Directors),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>external: independent ombudsperson\/mediator (contracted partner, contact on the website).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Investigation procedure:<\/strong> prompt, confidential, with no retaliation; if a complaint concerns a Managing Director, the person concerned is excluded from the process and the case is handled by the other Managing Director plus the external mediator.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support for victims:<\/strong> option of paid leave, flexible work, referral to professional support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Targets:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>100% of complaints resolved within 30 days;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>annual prevention training and mandatory e-learning at onboarding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.
